Economy Body Parts began in the early 90’s on District Blvd. in southwest Bakersfield. The company was owned and operated by Sam Hindi, who specialized in wholesale automobile collision replacement parts. While the market for autoglass was still growing, he created a second company, called Payless Autoglass, that specialized in wholesale and retail automotive glass replacement parts. Eventually, the two companies combined to form Economy Body Parts and Autoglass. About 1995, Sam wanted to explore business opportunities in northern California and began another store in Chico California. The Bakersfield store was sold to and is owned by Polo Melendez, who began his career in autoglass with Safelite corporation and has many years of experience in AGR. The staff has grown to include installers with many years of AGR experience, CSR Melissa Holguin, and Jr. Holguin who operates the body parts dept. We sell aftermarket and OEM or CAPA certified parts and autoglass , wholesale to dealers and body shops, as well as retail at low prices to the public. Our parts and experience are second to none, and customer satisfaction is our goal.
